Basically they ended up lying to us, use at your own peril, we are bitterly disappointed. Replacing a water heater is never fun, but Joseph was very professional. My only complaint was arriving outside of the appointment window.

PLUMBING, HEATING OR AC PROBLEM?
Alex was very knowledgeable and professional, and answered all of the questions I had. While he was doing the furnace tune up, he found some issues with the original installation. Friendly Home installed a new heating and air system for my home last year, Alex explained to me what were not done correctly and he fixed the problems. I really appreciate his honesty and work ethics. Alex knows what he’s doing, and provides excellent service.About three weeks later Alex came back and did a tune up for my AC.
We had used this company and were very satisfied with our hot water heating system. Told several stories about all kinds of things wrong with our AC. In reality we had a vibrating cover that sounded bad from the down stairs. I have primarily with Paul Johnson and Ian. Ian installed a new furnace for us and was awesome to work with. Paul did a number of rough plumbing jobs that included running a gas line to our kitchen so that we could install a gas cooktop....
They did a drain service at the end of March 2021 for me, and a few days latter, the drain is clogged again. They did another service and charged me for $500. A few months later the drain is clogged again and I had them to come over to take a look.
From the time i called for an estimate, to the time they finished installing the unit was less than a week. Jeremy, Jonathan, Corbin and Alex were all super easy to talk to, and answered any question i had. They also called me to let me know he was on his way.
In our latest fall check-up plumber Ron McGinnis flushed and descaled our tankless water heater and identified some leaks and a needed sediment trap for the water heater. The estimate was reasonably priced and the work Ron performed was outstanding. HVAC specialist Greg Wooten also educated me to potential issues that we could have in the future with the heater and he'll be back to install a surge protector on the heater. We are always grateful to Friendly's professionals in keeping us aware of leaks, problems, and code requirements.
